It was a beautiful spring day in Grand Junction on Thursday and
we were warmly greeted single handedly by Tammie Rupe. I
believe that Bob Burger was supposed to be with Tammie but his
absence was definitely felt. Tammie did a great job as our
official greeter. President Kristin opened our meeting by
welcoming all and asked for volunteers to come up to the front
of the room to help as we sang “Easter Parade”. Our volunteers
were Orville Petersen, Jim Corley, Jeff Freeland, Terry
Wakefield, Greg Schaefer, Mike Moran, Wes D’Aponti and Omar
Campos. Terry Wakefield led the group, which was decked out in
beautiful Easter bonnets, as we all sang “Easter Parade”. The
gentlemen added to the performance as they danced the can-can
while they sang. Great Job, Guys!!Dave Kearsley delivered our
invocation and with that we were off and running.
Kristi Pollard introduced Curtis Moore and Alan Watkins
