It was another warm day in Grand Junction and at Two Rivers
Convention Center we were warmly greeted by Brad Krebill and the
daughter of Mailyn and Wes D’Aponti, Adrianna Price. Thank you
both for filling in for Kevin Price and Mike Stahl in their
absence. Wes kicked off our meeting by welcoming all members
and their guests and by delivering this month’s focused object
of “To develop, by precept and example, a more intelligent,
aggressive, and serviceable citizenship”. We were led in song
by Terry Wakefield as we attempted to sing “Good Old
Summertime”. Thanks to Jeannie Thomas as she supported our
attempt with her beautiful playing of this song on the piano.
Our invocation was delivered by Kristin Winn and the Defining
Statement was delivered by yours truly in the absence of Betsy
Madden. Thank you all for your contribution to our meeting and
thanks to all of those members of Team Three that stepped in and
demonstrated real “Team Work”.
