kicked
off
our
New
Membership
Drive
and
our
greeters
were
members
of
that
Committee.
Wes
opened
our
meeting
by
welcoming
all
Kiwanians
and
their
guests.
As
we
sang
“Springtime
in
the
Rockies”
we
were
led
by
Rich
Emerson.
Jim
Corley
delivered
our
invocation
and
the
Pledge
of
Allegiance
was
led
by
Wes
D’Aponti.
We
had
a
great
turn
out
of
guests
this
week.

gave
a
dynamic
speech
to
the
audience
about
the
importance
of
our
mission
as
Kiwanians.
Rick
Nisley
spoke
about
the
projects
that
we
are
involved
in,
Betsy
Madden
talked
about
the
“Young
Women
of
the
Month”
and
Shaunalee
Wall
spoke
on
behalf
of
the
“New
Member”
and
what
it
means
to
her
to
be a
Kiwanian.
Larry
Beckner,
as a
longstanding
member
of
the
club,
gave
a
humorous
and
heartfelt
speech
about
what
it
means
to
be a
Kiwanian.
Orville
Petersen
spoke
about
the
allocation
of
funds
raised
by
Kiwanis
Events.
Wes
D’Aponti
announced
that
Wednesday,
March
14th
at
5:15
our
next
Pre-Induction
Orientation
will
take
place.
The
location
is
the
Holiday
Inn
on
Horizon
Drive
and
this
will
be
conducted
by
Don
Teets.
Dave
Harris
presented
$10.00
to
Ben
Watkins.
Ben
had
the
magic
number
for
his
handshake
as
he
welcomed
Dave
into
our
club.
Don
Teets
delivered
our
“Thought
for
the
Day”
and
we
were
adjourned
by

at
1:30.
