Harbert. Daryl Pridy had as his guest Chris Stewart.
Rick Adleman brought Abby Lanmier who is the Circle K
president. She said they are not doing well as there are
only two members. She asked for our help in recruiting
new members.

$5.00 to say the College is going to honor 5 alumni
including our own Bruce Hill. Mike Moran had Happy bucks

Kettle partnership.

going on.
President Wes gave a one minute spot on the history
of Kiwanis. He said the original club chose the name
Kiwanis. He also said the defining statement was adopted
a couple of years ago.
Tom Sheldon gave a board report. He said the
Oktoberfest report indicated we netted about $6100 which
is down about 27 per cent from last year. He also said
Joe Breman gave a report on the financial resources. The
special acknowledgment of the speaker was approved as
was the budget and to give $5000 to the Meth Task Force
for assistance for those coming off treatment.
Kristin Winn expanded on the plan for the money for
Meth treatment. Any questions talk to her.
Joe Bremen talked about the newest committee which is
Financial Resources Committee. He said their plans are
to make Kiwanis a part of estate planning, single pay
life insurance programs, or checks in memorial. They
hope to have Kiwanis members think of the club in their
estate planning and at other times when it is
appropriate to give money. The hope is to use this money
in a foundation trust to help the general needs of the
community. Any questions talk to Joe Breman.
Rick Nisley gave a special thanks to all who helped
with Oktoberfest. He said the raffle should bring in
another 3 to 4 hundred dollars on top of the $6100
already earned. Bob Colony and Bob Hanson donated the
Bronco tickets which were the highlight of the drawing
and Lynne Sorlye made arrangements for the Holiday Inn
stay when the winner goes to the Bronco game.
