It was the day after Christmas and Kiwanis and Rotary were having
a joint meeting. Actually there were only about six Rotarians present
but we appreciate their effort.Greeters were Kristin Winn and Steve
Castor. The song of the day was Jingle Bells, (All three verses). The
prayer of the day was offered by Kristin Winn.

include a new grandchild.
Anniversaries were celebrated by Heidi Pankow and also by Mark Relph.

Bruce Hill told the joke of the day. It had to do with a chicken
crossing the street and going into a bar.
Happy Bucks were given by Orville Peterson who said he was happy to
be rid of his wrist brace, Bob Jaffe ( guest) because he does not have a
tie like President Rick’s, Don Teets who said he got two computers and
that 1 ½ of them work. President Rick informed him there would be no
refunds.
Kristin Winn introduced the program. It was her husband, John Winn.
John is a singer, guitar player and song writer. He entertained with
several original songs. Everyone enjoyed the program. The songs were
about apple picking in Maine, a good cup of coffee and a patriotic song.
Don’t forget the First Annual Blood Drive which is coming up January

beef raffle will be available the next three weeks.
Mike Moran had News, Weather and Sports. He made a gaffe about the
Time Magazine’s Persons of the Year all being women.
Kristin Winn brought the thought for the day. It had to do with
having a large, loving family in another city.
Mike Burke, Rotary President, was the mystery greeter. He awarded the
$5.00 to Rotarian George Wheeler.
