BOB's "newest" friend - Shanna

BOB snuck over to UniFirst Mortgage on Wednesday to see his newest friend Shanna Burke. She wasn't there so BOB camped out in her office until she "found" him the next day. Shanna was kind enough to bring BOB back to see all his friends at the Kiwanis Club luncheon on Thursday.

As I was leaving club, I overheard BOB tell Vikki Bell that next time he wanted to make sure he had an overnight bag with his toothbrush.

April Students of the Month

Left to right, Jay Shearrow – Palisade HS, Heather Hunt – Central HS,
Samuel Moreno – Grand Junction HS,
(not shown)
Natalie Weber – Fruita-Monument HS.

They all drew straws to see who got to hold BOB and Heather lost.

Kiwanis One Day
Blue Heron - Riverfront Trail

Each year, Kiwanis clubs around the world join in a day of service.  It's a global effort, but it's made up of personal commitments to our local communities.  On April 2, 2016 volunteers from the Kiwanis Club of Grand Junction and the community cleaned up the Blue Heron section of the Riverfront Trail. Even Bob helped!

Where's BOB?
Follow the zany antics of BOB, our newest Kiwanis member,
as he romps through our valley in his adventures.
Maybe he'll show up at your place next.

You won't want to miss this, so stay tuned.
